Abstract

The paper presents the results of a study of natural stands of tien-shan spruce (Picea schrenkiana) in the Chon-Kyzyl-Suu gorge of the Issyk-Kul region. This article attempts to reveal the main causes of the degradation of stands, the settlement of new spaces with spruce. The conducted studies allowed us to conclude that the processes of ice formation in Chon-Kyzyl-Suu are unsatisfactory, which may be due to both the ecological and biological characteristics of this species.
